Objectives
- To establish and maintain Hindu Schools and Colleges in Colombo District
- To give pupils admitted into such Schools and Colleges a good general education which shall include Hindu religious instruction in respect of Hindu pupils
- To promote and encourage the education of Hindus
- To establish, maintain, assist or carry on institutions including libraries, Laboratories and research centers for the advancement of education or knowledge particularly among persons professing the Hindu religion
- To found or assist in founding scholarships, bursaries, prizes, studentships, teacherships, or fellowships for the advancement of education or knowledge particularly among persons professing the Hindu Religion
- To provide facilities for the proper education of youths and students by establishing or assisting Hostels and cultural, religious or recreational institutions or organisations particularly for youths and students professing the Hindu religion.
